Altantuya Case : September date to wrap up case

It is finally wrapping up next month. So how do you think the prosecution had prosecuted the accused so far?.

Updates on Altantuya murder case:

SHAH ALAM: The prosecution is confident of wrapping up its case in the Altantuya Shaariibuu trial by the end of September.

The trial, which started on June 18, will break for three weeks from today.

So far, a total of 23 witnesses had been called to the stand.

“God willing, we would most probably complete the trial by the end of September barring any side applications,” DPP Tun Abd Majid Tun Hamzah told Justice Mohd Zaki Md Yasin.

Among the reasons for the break were to give the lawyers time to look into their other cases and to allow the prosecutors to attend a conference later this month,

Justice Mohd Zaki said the hearing would resume on Sept 3 and would contintue through the fasting month due to start in mid-September until the end of the prosecution's case.
