IPF Youth To Hold Big Campaign For BN Candidate
The Indian Progressive Front (IPF) will hold a big campaign on Wednesday in support of the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Ijok by-election. Pandithan and MIC President Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu yesterday ended 20 years of animosity to cooperate in the interest of the Indian community.

Reject Abusive Leaders, Says Rais
The people should reject individuals who use abusive or coarse language as leaders, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said. Rais was referring to the mocking and heckling that erupted into a fracas involving rival supporters before nominations for the Ijok state seat by-election last Thursday.

Ijok by-election: Khalid wants debate with Parthiban
Ijok’s Parti Keadilan Rakyat candidate Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has asked his Barisan Nasional opponent K. Parthiban for a public debate on Thursday. He said the debate would give an opportunity to voters to hear from them, and for the people to field questions.

DPM Najib promises to assist Ijok personally in the future
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he would give emphasis to the Ijok state constituency even after the polling day for the Ijok by-election on April 28.

Coffee shop to kampung, Anwar charms Ijok
About 600 or so people that jam packed in a coffee shop were predominantly Chinese, Anwar decided to touch on topics close to their hearts such as the economy, mother-tongue education and not to forget, Umno Youth chief Hishammuddin Hussein's infamous keris-wielding incident.

All-Blogs must go to Ijok
Susan Loone (blogger) is suggesting that All-Blogs (otherwise known as the National Alliance of Bloggers) must turun padang (go down to the fields) in Ijok and campaign for freedom of speech for Bloggers. This campaign, also the first, in the history of bloggers, must see heavyweight bloggers like Sheih @ kickedefella, Rocky, Jeff Ooi, Nuraina Samad, Marina Mahathir, Elizabeth Wong and Raja Petra Kamaruddin, meet the Ijok people, or at least their respresentatives to tell them there is such a thing called blogger, bloggers united, alliance of bloggers, and freedom of speech.

Gerakan president Dr Koh Tsu Koon - Ijok a tough fight
Penang Chief Minister and newly-minted Gerakan president Dr Koh Tsu Koon believes that the upcoming Ijok by-election in Selangor will be challenging.
